Please join us Wednesday, April 27th at 9:00 am (CDT) for our "Future of Feeding" webinar series! This webinar series focuses on using innovation in the processing of animal food, the equipment being used (existing and newly developed), as well as using grains from our region for co-products. A new speaker will be featured each month.

About the Speaker.

Dave Albin is Vice President of Nutrition & Extrusion Technologies at Insta-Pro International, a globally-recognized manufacturer of high-quality equipment and technology for feed and food production.  Dave has worked in the food and nutrition industries for more than 15 years, focusing on the development of quality, safe ingredients, and products for food and dairy animals, pets, and humans.  Before this, Dave earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Sciences and Animal Nutrition, respectively, from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the same institution.

Dave has conducted scientific research in the areas of nutrition, food safety, and physiology using techniques of nutrition laboratory analyses, animal experiments, and molecular biology.  This has resulted in the publication of 18 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, 6 conference proceedings, 26 abstracts, and over 100 popular press articles, technical blog posts, and white papers. 

Finally, Dave has long been interested in food systems from farm to consumer, and working with region-specific approaches for improved output, quality, and efficiency
