Please join us Wednesday, March 23rd at 9:00 am (CDT) for our "Future of Feeding" webinar series! This webinar series focuses on using innovation in the processing of animal food, the equipment being used (existing and newly developed), as well as using grains from our region for co-products. A new speaker will be featured each month.

This month will feature Mohamed Salah Bouthour, Middle East and Africa Marketing Specialist for the U.S. Grains Council. During this hour-long presentation, Mohamed will discuss the Tunis Training Center.

Mohamed Salah Bouthour | Middle East and Africa Marketing Specialist for the U.S. Grains Council

About the Speaker.

Mohamed Salah Bouthour serves as the Middle East and Africa Marketing Specialist of the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum, and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS).

In this role, Mohamed Salah is the principal advisor to the Regional Director on marketing practices and promotion opportunities in the countries covered by USGC Middle East and Africa Office.


Prior to joining the Council, he worked for S.G.S, the leader in inspection, analysis, control, and certification, for 5 years as a Business Manager for Agricultural and Minerals commodities in Tunisia and Libya. He has knowledge of local grains’ suppliers and agribusiness exporters by inspecting their products and ensuring contractual specifications. His prior experience includes working for 4 years with the Tunisian aluminum industry as a Key Account Manager for the Italian market.

Mohamed Salah Bouthour holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the High Institute of Management in Tunis.
