The Northern Crops Institute (NCI), in partnership with industry leaders, is hosting an initiative to inspire high school students to explore career opportunities in agriculture. The NCI Summer Ag Academy will be held from June 13-16, 2023, and is open to all high school students in grades 10-12 (as of the 23-24 school year), regardless of their past experience in agriculture.

The most defining trait of April for the NCI is the kickoff month of courses. It is the last calendar month before “course season,” so there is much prepping to be done before the summer pace picks up speed.
