About the Speaker.
Rick recently retired from nearly 39 years of animal private mixed veterinary practice and multiple Animal Health company leadership roles. Most recently, he was Executive Director of Technical Services for Merck Animal Health in the US Food Animal Business Unit. In his latest role, he was responsible for over 50 technical service professional s in cattle, swine, poultry, aquaculture and Pharmacovigilance.
He currently is Owner and Director of Executive Veterinary and Health Solutions LLC, where he consults for businesses and organizations working in Food Animal industries to provide management support service and strategic leadership for the evolving animal protein industries. He continues to be especially active in business consolidation strategies, global antibiotic stewardship roles and developing strategic innovation pathways for the national and global Food Animal industries.
