About the Speaker.

Brian D. Healy is the Founder & CEO of Agtech Advisors LLC. In two newly created roles, Healy scaled a startup division and oversaw go-to-market strategy in 20 countries. Under his leadership, the division delivered new product sales, established global partnership support, and secured increased funding. Healy also served as an appointed advisor on three federal advisory Boards where he advanced the interests of the industry on matters relating to trade policy, agriculture, and renewable energy. 

Prior, Healy worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) as an agricultural economist. In this role, he led market assessments in China, Mexico, and India to evaluate market needs and product priorities. Healy also led market analysis on Cuba, evaluating how changes in diplomatic relations would impact U.S. trade. Healy served as Board President of a professional development organization, where he led a Board that increased resources for 300 professionals and improved the net promoter score from 58 to 68. 

Healy holds a master’s degree in agricultural and resource economics from the University of California, Davis and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Maryland. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
