Responsibilities:
As Feed Mill Manager, some of Mueller’s responsibilities include:

• Feed Production to supervise the manufacture of complete feeds, supplements, concentrates, and premixes used by the on-campus livestock units of NDSU.

• Educational out-reach and technical service to encourage faculty and researchers increased experimental feed production to demonstrate the efficacy and/or the unique properties and advantages of using northern-grown crops in food animal production.

• Maintain lines of communication with the commodity groups of the four-state region, highlighting programs, research efforts and fostering positive relationships.

• Continue with mill upgrades and maintenance.

Education:
Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science with minors in Agriculture Business and Chemistry from South Dakota State University.

Previous Experience:

Mueller previously worked at Dakotaland Feeds LLC in Huron, SD as a Supply Chain Management Associate from August 2018 - April 2019 and then as the Feed Mill Manager from April 2019 - March 2022.
