2014 Grain Procurement Management for Importers course

Northern Crops Institute (NCI) hosted 19 countries at the 2014 Grain Procurement Management for Importers course that ends today. This is the largest group of nations that have come to NCI for any course since its beginning in 1983. Thirty-one grain buyers came to NCI to learn how to make more effective purchases while decreasing their risk. Course participants were from Belgium, China, Colombia, Egypt, El Salvador, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Tunisia, and USA. U.S. Wheat Associates and the USDA FAS Cochran Program sponsored many of the participants in this course. John Crabtree, NCI Assistant Director, coordinated the course that ran from September 15-24.
