Course Overview:

This on-demand course provides participants with a clear introductory understanding of the fundamental operations within a feed mill. Through short, focused videos, learners will explore each major piece of equipment and gain insight into essential processes, from ingredient receiving to grinding, mixing, pelleting, and testing. The course is ideal for onboarding new employees, offering a refresher for current staff, or supporting individuals who need familiarity with a single piece of equipment.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to describe the basics of feed mill operations, understand the receiving and processing steps involved, identify key equipment used throughout ingredient processing, explain the fundamentals of the pelleting process, and recognize the critical role of laboratory testing in ensuring feed quality and safety.

Participants will have access to the course for 6 months, and will be able to complete the modules on their own time as their schedule allows.
