NCI Video Production | September 2023 Update

NCI is still in full course swing but nearing the end of the busy course season as the weather cools. The conference schedule this month had NCI’s second annual Next 5 Years Conference locked in on September 11 this year. NCI is grateful for our friends at LiveWire for providing their live streaming services for the conference. Nevertheless, there was plenty of other video work to be done that day. Read on for the details.

Next 5 Years Conference:

Interview time between breaks during the Pasta from Multiple U.S. Wheat Classes course.

The video features footage from throughout the entire day narrated by Mark Jirik of NCI, Steve Olson of Steve Olson Consulting, and Howard Olson of AgCountry. These three interviewees were critical in the formation of both last year’s and this year’s conferences. All three were happy to report that the 2023 conference saw increased participant numbers and excellent engagement.

NCI In-Person Course Video:

Grabbing some shots in the Pasta lab again!

One of the highlighted courses of this month that the NCI film crew followed around with cameras was Pasta from Multiple U.S. Wheat Classes course. During this course, video was taken of lab demos and the intriguing lectures. Several participants were interviewed on camera and had many outstanding comments about the course and the NCI.

The popular annual Grain Procurement course also wrapped up in this current month, beginning on the same day as the Next 5 Years Conference.
