Program Overview

This FREE one-day program helps those inside and outside of agriculture better understand the steps that wheat travels to become nutritious breads, pastas, and other food products. Participants are introduced to wheat breeding, crop production, milling and baking, and basic information on how the protein, starch and other components impact end-use quality. The program includes lectures, lab demos, and hands-on bread making for all attending.

How Do I Register?

Enroll early. This program is limited. All programs are contingent upon sufficient enrollment numbers. Do not make travel reservations until NCI confirms that the program will be offered. During the program will receive access to materials from lectures, refreshments during scheduled breaks and lunch. Hotel rooms and other meals ARE NOT included.
