Course Overview:
This course will begin with a strong overview of the production process from farm to finished product. Learning then shifts to the procurement process, focusing on the U.S. transportation system from plant to port, the current trade and policy environment, and procurement risk management strategies.
By the end of the course, you will learn about the U.S. supply chain; trade and low carbon fuel policies; carbon capture and sequestration; the sustainability of ethanol; basic hedging and risk management strategies; and the current market outlook.
