INTSOY: Introduction to Soybean Course

Course Overview:

This course will provide an overview of many aspects of the soy industry. The course will explore new ideas for soy-based foods and snack foods, soy as a supplement to fortify foods, soy as animal nutrition, and an overview of soy production in the U.S. 

Objectives:

  • Learn from industry professionals about the potential uses for soy in food products, including baking, snack foods, meat alternatives, beverages, and more!

  • Participate in the hands-on processing of soy foods and feeds

  • Learn about the current status and future potential of the global soy foods industry

  • Learn about the soy industry in the United States

Who Should Attend:

This course will be available for entrepreneurs, marketers, and anyone in the food industry who plans to develop new soy-based products for their business. Also for researchers and agricultural professionals interested in obtaining experience with the latest in what’s going on in the soy foods industry.

Transportation:

Daily transportation during the course will be provided. Transportation between the airport and hotel will be arranged by NCI.

Hotel Information:

After registering, an email will be sent to you with a list of hotels that the NCI has reserved rooms at. Please wait until you receive this email to book your hotel stay.

Cancellation Policies:

Requests to cancel a registration must be received one day prior to the start of the course to receive a full refund. If NCI is forced to cancel this course due to insufficient enrollment, dangerous weather or other circumstances, all registered participants will be immediately contacted, and each participant will receive a full refund. Refunds require 10 business days for the transaction to be completed.
