Course Overview.

The mission of this course is to teach participants how to make the best plant-based texturized protein products. Featured crops used to accomplish this will include soy, wheat, and pulses. The course will provide insight into nutritional and economic benefits of each of these ingredients, along with market overviews and hands-on experience in raw ingredient usage and final product development.

Who Should Attend?

Technical and managerial personnel in the human and animal food industry seeking training in the fundamentals of the production and utilization of plant-based texturized protein.

How Do I Register?

Enroll early. This course is limited to a maximum of 20 participants. All courses are contingent upon sufficient enrollment numbers. Do not make travel reservations until NCI confirms that the course will be offered. For your course fee, you will receive access to materials from lectures and laboratory demonstrations. Lunches will be provided, as will refreshments during scheduled breaks. Hotel rooms and other meals ARE NOT included.

Registration Fee is $900.00 when registering on or before Friday, March 20th, 2020.
Registration Fee is $1,000.00 when registering after Friday, March 20th, 2020.

EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday March 20th, 2020.
FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday April 17th, 2020.

Should you request to cancel your registration prior to the registration deadline, NCI will provide a refund, less a 10% processing charge. Cancellation requests received after the registration deadline will not be eligible for a refund. If NCI is forced to cancel this course due to insufficient number of participants, dangerous weather or other circumstances, we will immediately notify all registrants and provide a full refund within 10 business days.

What About Groups of Three or More?

Is There Daily Transportation?

Daily complimentary transportation will only be provided between Northern Crops Institute and the hotel. Parking is available in the NCI and T-2 lots on the NDSU Campus for those that will be driving on their own. A map of these two lots can be found here. Please request a parking pass when arriving at NCI.

What About the Hotel?

Northern Crops Institute has reserved a block of rooms at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo. Make your reservation via the link below, or call the hotel directly. The room block closes on Friday, April 17, 2020. Reservations made after that date are subject to availability and price increase. Please note that hotel rooms ARE NOT included in the course registration fee.
