A five-member Japanese Millers Executive Team is meeting at NCI today to learn more about the region’s wheat production and crop trends. The millers represent Showa Sangyo Company, Riken Nosan Kako Company, Seko Milling Company, and the Japanese Flour Mills Association. They will hear from NDSU experts on wheat breeding, quality, biotechnology, economics, and the U.S. elevator system. They are accompanied by Wataru Utsunomiya, Country Director for U.S. Wheat Associates, Tokyo, Japan, and hosted by Erica Olson, North Dakota Wheat Commission.
