Public Relations/Communications Specialist
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements public relations and communications campaign.
Writes and edits news releases and publications, including
the Annual Update, spring newsletter, and special issues, such as the 20th Anniversary
souvenir book. Designs publications and promotional items. Supervises publication production. Serves
as web master. Develops email list to distribute news releases and announcements. Writes and designs ads and brochures. Develops protocol resources. Digital photography.
Education:
Master of Science degree from North Dakota State University; Bachelor
of Arts degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.
Experience:
At NCI since 1998. Previously, worked in higher education and non-profit
organizations, including three years as Assistant Director of Communications
at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and five years as an Academic
Advisor at NDSU.
