Feed Production Center Manager
Responsibilities:
Directs the operation of the NCI Feed Production Center and oversees the production
of livestock feeds used by North Dakota State University, North Dakota
Experiment Stations and other land grant institutions in the four
state region. Assists US Grains Council and the American Soybean Association
with international outreach programming and technical assistance.
Provides undergraduate and graduate level training in Feed Manufacturing
Technology through course and workshop instruction. When invited provides
technical consultations for government or private initiatives in feed
manufacturing technology, feedmill management and food animal production.

Education: Ph.D. and M.S. in Grain Science and Industry, Kansas State University
Recent Activities:
Continuing elucidation of effective and efficient feed processing
technology applied to oilseeds, grains and specialty crops.
Professional Memberships:
American Feed Industry Association (member of the Nutrition Council
and past chair of the Eco-Nutrition committee), American Association of
Cereal Chemists (past chair of Publications Panel), World Aquaculture
Society, American Oil Chemists Society, past chair of the Agriculture Microscopy Division.
