Objective: The intent of this course is to provide a background of current U.S. feed industry operation and management practices to those who are in a developmental or restructuring phase of their livestock and poultry feed industry. Participants can use this background in creating and structuring an industry that meets the demands and needs of their customers.

Course Summary: The program uses a combination of classroom presentations, hands-on workshops and site visitations. Manufacturing technology and energy conservation, quality assurance of raw materials and finished products, and management strategies are focused upon.
