This course will highlight recent advances in nutritional composition, feeding, handling, and feed manufacturing of distiller’s grains alone and in combination with complementary ingredients.

Of special interest will be hands-on pellet production in NCI’s Feed Production Center and site visits to animal feeding and ethanol facilities.

Registration Fee: $750.  Payment in full is due one week before the start of the course. Registration deadline is April 19, 2010. Course fee includes written materials associated with lectures and laboratory demonstrations and scheduled breaks. Hotel rooms and other meals are not included in registration fee.  Cancellations received after April 19, 2010, will be assessed a 10% service fee.

Course Schedule:  On the first day of class, course participants should be in the hotel lobby by 8:00 a.m. for transportation to the campus. Class will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4 and adjourn around 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 6.
