Koch and Odde Will Address Minnesota Nutrition Conference

 

Fargo, N.D. -- Dr. Kim Koch and Dr. Ken Odde will speak at the 66 th annual Minnesota Nutrition Conference and Technical Symposium in St. Paul, September 20-21.

Koch, NCI Feed Production Center manager, will address the Technical Symposium, which focuses on the future of corn in animal feed. Koch will speak the relationship of growing, harvesting, and storage on feeding (nutritive) value of corn. Minnesota Corn Growers Association is the sponsor for the technical symposium.

Odde, professor, NDSU Animal and Range Science department, will talk at the Ruminant Session on the effects of perinatal beef cow and calf nutrition on pre- and post- weaning health and performance.

The Minnesota Nutrition Conference is an important forum for the nutrition industry. Local, national and international animal nutritionists gather to learn about the current, innovative research conducted at universities, in industry, and at government centers. This year's conference features dairy, beef, swine, and poultry nutrition. The University of Minnesota facilitates the conference.
