NCI provides classes that enable participants to learn about northern climate crops and their unique qualities, marketability, and processing characteristics. Classes provide education and ‘hands on training’, and are two days to two weeks in length. Lectures, laboratory demonstrations, tours, and case history studies are part of the NCI experience. Participants are exposed to new technology and review current technology methods.
University professors and experts from industry and government will serve as guest lecturers. Education classes can be customized upon request from your group. Inquiries should be directed to Director Mark Jirik.
NCI recommends that you enroll early, and do not make travel arrangements until NCI confirms the class will be offered. All classes are contingent upon sufficient class enrollment numbers.
